Training Outline for Open Water Diver Graduates
The Coral Reef Ecology Diver Extension (CRED-X) is designed to bridge the gap between recreational dive training and environmental awareness. While traditional open water certification equips divers with essential underwater skills, CRED-X introduces the ecological understanding often absent from entry-level diver education.
This program transforms newly certified divers into environmentally conscious ocean ambassadors by providing foundational knowledge in coral reef ecology, marine conservation, responsible diving practices, and human impact mitigation. Through classroom learning and practical in-water experiences, participants develop a deeper connection with the marine environment and learn how every dive can contribute positively toward reef protection and sustainability.
